Our handcrafted goat stanchion is perfect for your small scale dairy or hobby farm. It comes in two sizes and is ready to assemble with easy to understand directions. Your stanchion will be hand built in the carpentry shop on our family solar powered farm in the Missouri Ozarks.

High quality goat stanchions. Made with untreated SPF wood and built to last. Heavy duty hardware with zinc plated steel corner braces. An extra stool by the side is not necessary. Sitting on the base works great as you milk, feed or trim the hooves of your goats. Stanchion is solid enough to hold over 250lb. on the platform.

Goat stand measurements:

  • Top head gate to ground: 45 inches
  • Platform to ground 17 inches
  • Platform base: 32 inches long x 18 inches wide
  • Weight is 25lb for the 1x6 platform option
  • Weight is 40lb for the composite decking platform option

This goat stand is designed for Pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf Goats.

Feeder Bucket is not included. Shipped FedEx or UPS Ground depending on the best rate.

Stained option is only stained on the platform and not the legs or head gate. It provides both an aesthetic shade and is water resistant to help preserve the wood.

Absolutely love the little goat stand. My girls love to play in it. And putting it together was a snap. Pre-drilled holes were awesome.

Put it together 1 handed!

I love this goat stand! I didn’t need my husband or even 2 hands to put it together (I had hand surgery 3 weeks ago and in restricted brace). The assembly was so easy and took me about 20 minutes to put together. It is sturdy and excellent materials. I am VERY happy with this purchase.

Fits perfect for my Pigmy goats!!

I at least know that my pigmy goats fit on this wonderful stand and so nice to put together. Sadly I should have went with my gut and purchased the larger/longer one for my Nigerans Dwarfs. Shipping was great, arrived in a non damaged state and no issues from any aspect.
I am all about supporting family and small businesses that are in the USA.

Worthy every penny

I love this milking stand! The size is perfect for my Dwarf Nigerians, and it was so easy to assemble. Most of the work is already done, and my 9 year old son put the rest together for me with minimal guidance.
